If you think being a real estate agent is just about helping people buy and sell homes, think again.

The realtors of Kelowna are incredibly community-minded, and you’ll often find them donating their time, energy and dollars to support good causes.

The Kelowna Women’s Shelter was the grateful recipient of close to $8,000 raised at the annual Christmas fundraising luncheon hosted by OMREB (Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board).

The Shelter was also recently presented with a cheque for $8,700 from Royal LePage. By donating part of their commissions and holding fundraising events, the realtors support women’s shelters and violence prevention programs through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
